Frequently asked questions
How do I find scholarships abroad as a Sri Lankan student?
Use the filters on this page to pick a country and study level, open a scholarship to read who can apply, what it covers and the deadline, then apply through the official website linked on its page. All listings on Exam1st are free to read and no registration is needed.
Are these scholarships fully funded?
Each listing shows whether it is fully funded, partially funded or varies. Fully funded awards usually cover tuition fees, a monthly living allowance and airfare, but the exact benefits are set by the provider, so always read the official call.
How often is this list updated?
Deadlines change every year. Each listing shows the last update date and whether the dates are confirmed or only expected. Closed scholarships stay on the list so you can prepare early for the next round.
Does an application cost money?
Genuine scholarships do not charge an application fee. Apply only through the official website of the scholarship provider and never pay an agent to guarantee an award.
Important: Exam1st lists scholarship information for guidance only. Dates and rules can change, so always confirm them on the official website of the scholarship provider before you apply.
